Our Place in Nature: Survey of Archaeology and Biological Anthropology
(5 credits, NS, non-lab) General study of the field of archaeology, which studies human cultures through an examination of material remains, and the field of biological anthropology which looks at human biological variation, nonhuman primate evolution and behaviors, and the human fossil record.  Writing assignments represent a significant component of coursework.

Prerequisite (Enforced): Completion of ENGL 098 with a grade of C or higher or eligibility for ENGL& 101.
